A guiding star
A lodestar is a guiding star. Like a star you look up to when finding your way, Lodestar hopes to help you get to know yourself. Hamzzi is the friend who walks beside you, sharing stories about Saju along the way.
Little moments of joy
There is something about Hamzzi clutching a sunflower seed in tiny paws, cheeks full and happily munching, that makes you smile. We want learning about Saju to feel just as relaxed and enjoyable.
When Saju is new to you
You turn to Saju because you are curious about yourself, only to find unfamiliar characters and difficult terms. Even with an explanation, it can be hard to understand what they mean or how they relate to your life.
That is when Hamzzi says, “Shall we start here together?”
Hamzzi puts difficult words into everyday language and explains unfamiliar ideas one at a time. You do not have to know everything from the start. As you follow along, think of your own experiences and see what feels familiar.
Getting to know yourself
“Oh, there is this side of me, too.”
You might notice a strength you had overlooked, or begin to understand something about yourself that has always bothered you. Those are the little moments of discovery we hope you find in Saju. And as you get to know yourself, we hope you can be a little kinder to yourself, too.
