LODESTAR · DAY BY DAY
Update journal
Small improvements, day by day. Follow the changes to Lodestar since v0.1.0 opened on September 19, 2026.
Entries are dated by the day we worked on them, in Korean time.
- Latest
IljuTI added, with easier archive access
- Added “IljuTI”: a free love-style reading based on your day pillar, with the option to add your self-selected MBTI type.
- Results open in a cozy letter-style view, with the introduction and form hidden, to explore affection, date ideas and difficult conversations.
- Added a floating Share button to Birthday Hamzzi, Work Hamzzi and IljuTI results, so sharing stays within reach while you read.
- Added three birth-time choices to Birthday Hamzzi, Work Hamzzi and IljuTI: an exact hour and minute, an approximate time window, or an unknown time.
- Added archive and update journal links to the profile menu.
- Aligned home card heights and spacing on phones and larger screens.
- Fixed a compatibility issue that stopped login and reading requests from starting in some older browsers. Tested by recreating an environment without the required browser features.
Free Korean Manse chart added, with helpful definitions
- Added a free Manse chart in Korean that also works with saved birth profiles.
- Added definitions you can open by tapping underlined terms in your results.
- Fixed Korean Manse results failing to open when the browser blocks temporary storage. Recreated that restriction and checked the path from calculation to result.
Fixing missing pass labels and unclear wording
- Fixed home cards hiding the pass requirement when you already had a saved reading. The cost of starting a new reading now stays visible.
- Reworded Korean product descriptions, input guidance and result screens for clarity.
Readings without a known birth time
- Made Saju, Vedic astrology and wealth readings available without a known birth time or place, with explanations of any assumptions and omitted calculations.
- Fixed a sign-in prompt briefly appearing for signed-in members and shifting My page. The menu now stays in place while the account is checked.
Work Hamzzi in three languages
- Added English and Japanese to the Work Hamzzi test, with links from each language’s home page.
- Fixed birth-month labels being clipped on small phones. Checked date inputs in all three languages from 320px to larger screens.
Work Hamzzi added in Korean
- Added the Korean Work Hamzzi test to explore how you work and relate to colleagues through your day pillar.
- Opened reading sections by default so you can read the full result without expanding them one by one.
Keeping results and improving image saving
- Added English and Japanese to Birthday Hamzzi, the day-pillar test.
- Kept day-pillar test results available through signup and profile saving.
- Improved image saving for day-pillar results. If the file-saving dialog fails, the page tries a download and offers press-and-hold instructions.
Birthday Hamzzi added in Korean
- Added Birthday Hamzzi in Korean. Use your birthday to find your day-pillar character among 60 Hamzzis, without signing in.
- Added lunar birthday input with conversion to a Gregorian date for saved profiles.
- Prevented a second pass being reserved when you returned to a reading still being written. Returning now follows the existing request and lets you open it when ready.
Find saved readings more easily
- Collected saved results in the archive with filters by reading type.
- Tailored progress messages to each reading so you know what is being prepared.
- Fixed the archive failing to load while handling older Tojeong records. Saved results with an identified profile remain visible.
Six new readings added
- Added Saju readings with a Four Pillars chart, the five elements and a written look at your personal patterns.
- Added Zi Wei Dou Shu to explore areas of life through its twelve palaces.
- Added Vedic astrology readings.
- Added wealth readings about how you earn, share and value your work.
- Added the Tojeong year book, with pages for the year and its twelve lunar months.
- Added I Ching readings: bring a question, toss the coins and read the resulting hexagram.
Easier rereading and profile editing
- Put saved reading results first when you open the archive.
- Moved profile editing to its own page and simplified profile selection controls.
Naver login and faster profile loading
- Enabled Naver sign-in for the Korean service.
- Improved how profile and account information loads to reduce waiting when reopening screens.
Welcoming Korean readers
- Added Korean pages and reading screens.
- Organized new profile setup into three focused steps.
Daily fortunes and 2027 readings added
- Added daily fortunes for your selected profile, saved by date so you can revisit them.
- Added 2027 readings with a month-by-month look at the year.
v0.1.0Our first day

- Added Love readings about your relationship style and recurring patterns.
- Added Study & Work readings about how you learn and work, alongside the current year’s themes.
- Added links for sharing completed readings so recipients can read the result.
