Before you begin
- What is this based on?
- The day pillar is the pair of symbols assigned to a birth day in traditional Saju. This test combines ten heavenly stems as ways of expressing affection with twelve earthly branches as ways of feeling at ease. It is a character sketch for reflection, not a prediction about a relationship.
- Can I see everything for free?
- Yes. All sections open without an account or payment. If you are already signed in, you can use a saved profile or enter a different birth date.
- Do I have to choose an MBTI type?
- No. Leave it blank to read from the day pillar alone. If you choose a type you know, its preferences are woven into the same six parts of the letter. It is your own selection, not an MBTI assessment or a measure of accuracy.
- What if I do not know my birth time?
- Choose an exact time, an approximate two-hour period, or “Unknown.” Only an exact time between 11 p.m. and midnight advances the day pillar. An approximate Rat period uses midnight; an unknown time keeps the entered calendar day. Dates from 1900 through 2100 are supported.
- Does sharing reveal my birth date?
- No. A shared link contains the day-pillar result and any MBTI type you selected. It contains no birth date, name or profile ID. The date you type is used on this device without being saved or sent by this test.
